Cotton swabs.
Why not use cotton and paper ones? Because they impact the environment by being single-use. The average person goes through hundreds of cotton swabs each year. These cotton swabs get produced, warehoused, shipped, purchased, used, and discarded. During this process, the use of raw materials and the CO2 created are harmful to the environment. These processes become unnecessary when you commit to using reusable products like LastSwab.
Every day 1.5 billionsingle use cotton swabs are manufactured and then end up in the ocean
One LastSwab replaces upto 1,000 cotton swabs
Swap to LastSwab, the reusable swab, to put and end to this cycle
Swedish dishcloths are the perfect sustainable alternative to paper towels and plastic kitchen sponges.
100% biodegradable and home compostable - as they are made of cellulose and cotton, at the end of their lifespan they can be cut in small pieces and thrown in your home compost.
Super absorbent - one dishcloth can absorb 15 times its own weight in water. Imagine how many disposable paper towels can be replaced!
Durable - these dishcloths can be used and reused for around 6 - 9 months. This will depend on how much they are used and what is being cleaned with them.
Machine washable - can be cleaned in the washing machine or top rack of your dishwasher to give them a thorough clean. Otherwise, soaked in warm water with some vinegar to desinfect.
Dimensions: 17.5 x 18 cm
Just dampen the dishcloth in water and twist to drain the excess liquid. Use to clean any surface such as countertops, granite, stainless steel and glass. After cleaning, rinse with water and hang to dry on the kitchen sink, over the faucet or on a drying rack. To give it a thorough clean, pop in the washing machine or top rack of the dishwasher. At the end of its lifespan (after 6 - 9 months) dispose of the dishcloth by chucking it in your compost.
Made of 70% cellulose and 30% cotton.
